Understanding the Two-System Landscape

UDI Connect now operates within a dual-environment landscape, consisting of the following two environments:
  • Preview Environment – Connected to the authorities’ test systems. This environment allows safe testing, validation, and preparation before live submissions.
  • Production Environment – Linked to the official productive systems of the authorities. This is the live environment used for regulatory submissions.
This setup ensures that all onboarding, configuration, and submission activities can be validated in the Preview environment before going live in Production.

Switching Between Environments

In the Settings section, you can now choose the desired environment through the “Go To App” dropdown menu.
  • By default, clicking Go To App will redirect you to the Production environment.
  • To work in the Preview environment, simply select Preview from the dropdown menu before navigating.

Tip

Use the Preview environment to safely test your setup and validate submissions before executing them in the Production environment.
